My practice so far has explored the aspects of how abstraction can convey the relationship between the universal and personal experience. In particular using generic forms and particular textures to develop a personal language of individual logic. This reflects the polarities of the sensory and perception, of the intuitive and the intellectual of representation and abstraction.

The current work involves relating forms in two and three dimensions and their treatment in both abstract and representational space. This work takes its form from previous paintings that explored the integration of object and space across other mediums such as painting, drawing and sculpture.
